Please be advised that as of April 2021, Manulife Financial has changed its requirements for insurance policies related to psychological services. They now require all the invoices to detail the name and qualifications of the specialist directly providing the services. Here is how it affects you:

Therapy: Please verify that your insurance policy covers the services provided by a professional you are planning to work with. Some insurance plans of Manulife Financial DO NOT cover services by a registered psychotherapist and only cover direct services by a licensed psychologist. Assessments: While most of our assessment fees are billed under the name of a licensed psychologist supervising the assessment, a portion of the fees is billed under the name of a psychometrist conducting face-to-face testing. Most insurance plans by Manulife Financial will NOT reimburse this portion.
